Graduation

Urgent Message From the President:

Commencement Ceremonies Postponed

To the Campus Community and Alumni,

We had very much looked forward to celebrating the accomplishments of our graduating classes. However, the number of positive COVID-19 cases has reached unprecedented levels.  Given the rapid spread of the virus, Farmingdale State College has regrettably elected to postpone its commencement exercises scheduled for December 19 and 21, 2021. The College plans to invite all 2020 through Winter 2021 graduates to its May 25, 2022 commencement ceremonies for which we plan a great celebration.

We sincerely regret this action. It was imperative to make this decision in light of the growing number of COVID cases.

John S. Nader, PhD

President
