Title IX at 50
Two Panels of Experts Discuss What Title IX has Meant for Society

Tuesday, May 17, 2022 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

50 years after its landmark passing, we gather to celebrate Title IX, taking a look at the legislation’s impact, especially when it comes to sports. We have assembled two outstanding panels who will each in their own ways, analyze what Title IX has meant for society, where we stand today, and what we can do to both sustain achievements and further advance the causes consistent with the legislation. Join us from 5pm to 7pm for two thought-provoking discussions.

Sport industry leaders’ views on the impact, and future, of Title IX

The 1972 landmark legislation has changed the landscape of sports and society for the benefit of millions of individuals, especially girls and women. We bring together a stellar panel of sports and equity leaders who will share their expert perspective on how things have changed over the years, where we are today, and how we can continue to improve so that we fulfill the goals first set out 50 years ago.
