JFKIAT Gives Scholarship Gift to Farmingdale State College

JFKIAT Scholarship

JFKIAT has generously provided a $15,000 scholarship to the Farmingdale College Foundation for scholarships for students in the School of Aviation at Farmingdale State College.

Terminal 4 – operated by JFKIAT, gives back to the NYC community using its corporate giving program, 4GOOD, a philanthropic and sustainability program which encourages social change, general well-being, and environmental stewardship through a variety of initiatives. JFKIAT has invested in helping NYC community members achieve their educational and professional goals. Through its 2021 4GOODScholarship, JFKIAT provides funding for minority and economically disadvantaged students from New York to pursue college education. Three recipients were chosen from Farmingdale State College.

Meron Lindenfeld, Assistant Professor in the Aviation Department, had the honor of attending the Scholarship Award Ceremony, together with the three scholarship recipients, on December 6, 2021 at JFK Airport.  The recipients of this prestigious scholarship are Aaliyah Clarke, a junior student majoring in the Aviation Administration program, and Jonibek Islomjonov and Nkosi McRae, both junior students majoring in the Aeronautical Science: Professional Pilot program.  The students were able to personally meet and thank their donors for their very generous scholarship.
